Directly sourced from the Hunan province in China, jasmine pearl’s, sometimes referred to as Buddha’s tears, are individually hand rolled to form their unique shape. When infused with water, each pearl slowly unfurls, releasing its distinct flavour.

How to Use
This tea can be brewed in a tea pot, or a cup. Place 3–5 pearls into a cup. Add filtered water at 75ºc–85ºc and allow to infuse for 2–3 minutes. The pearls will gently unfold in the bottom of the cup. Leave or remove the tea and serve.
End of Life
The clear pouch that holds the loose leaf is made from a plant based cellophane material called NatureFlex. This is not a fossil fuel based polypropylene (as is often used with food packaging.) This can be placed in your home compost and will successfully breakdown in a few months.
Love Tea box packaging is made from post-consumer recycled cardboard and printed using vegetable based inks. These boxes (and the clear cello pouch inside) will easily break down in your home compost in a few months.
